sew cute! vintage blue sewing box

some of the best pieces that you stumble upon at the thrift store are in the most obscure locations. I found this adorable little sewing box just sitting randomly near some electronics. It didn't look amazing but i saw it's potential. I think it was the color. it was kind of teal, which i learned later was the color to which it had faded from its more aqua original color. 

i just adore the color, that is what really makes this piece rad. although one day i will be an expert seamstress, i think i need to let this piece find a wonderful home so i'm posting it on etsy as my very first product! sew awesome!
